Per our last meeting on Sunday, July 8th, and the continuing discussion of SDULC fundraising, I met with the staff of the “Mira Mesa Lanes” Bowling Alley regarding overall costs, time, and availability. One of the months I thought might be nice for our fundraiser would be Saturday afternoon, October 27, 2018 right before Halloween.
All shoe fees will be waived per my discussion with Mira Mesa Bowling management. October 27th is available as of right now. Approximate funds raised will be $100+ dollars based on 30 participants/2hrs of bowling. All SDULC Lions would be responsible for generating interest and getting family and friends to join in the fun. Your thought and opinions are valued. Please weigh in after your review of the rough, DRAFT attachments. I drafted a flyer tonight to give you an idea of how we could “market” the event. It is after 12:00am – I can do a better job if we proceed with this fundraiser. My opinion – good easy start for us and our fundraising efforts along with building our team rapport. Thoughts. I would appreciate it if everyone can provide their opinion(s).
