Mike Brandenburg attended the Annual MD4CON at Reno on May21-22. MD4 covers all of CA and the convention is attended by club and district leaders from across the state.
MD4CON was a great opportunity to network among Lions, to learn about many exciting things going on throughout CA, and to celebrate community service and fundraising achievements. Fun Fact – California is the # 1 state in the nation in giving to the Lion Club International Foundation (LCIF).
LCIF funds many disaster relief efforts across the globe and takes on diseases, like river blindness, which has been nearly eradicated due to Lions efforts.
