Dr. Allen Chan is a chiropractor, restaurant owner of Jasmine Seafood Restaurant and the previous president of San Diego United Lions Club.
For his decades of community service and leadership, he is the recipient of various awards including the 2015 National Ethnic Coalition of Organizations Ellis Island Medal of Honor Recipient, 2014 KPBS Local Hero, Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, the 2011-12 Melvin Jones Fellow for Dedicated Humanitarian Services, Lions Club International Foundation, and 2010 recipient of the Asian Business Association of San Diego Excellence in Community Service Award.
He is the co-founder of the Asian and Pacific American Coalition, San Diego and member and board member of the Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association of San Diego.
Dr. Chan also serves as Charter President.
